Hilton Malta invests in sustainable LED lighting

The Hilton Hotel in St. Julians has recently replaced all the incandescent lamps fitted in six ceiling based 'chandeliers' in the Portomaso conference and ball room with the innovative Pharox-300 type LED lamp consuming only 6 watt each.

For over fifty years the Group has been involved in helping to build the infrastructure of Malta through the supply of state-of-art plant and equipment of every type and description. As Malta made industrial and economic progress, JCS developed its business accordingly, winning large-scale tenders for complex infrastructural projects in the fields of energy, the environment and security. Malta's first biological sewage purification plant, the first two boilers at the Delimara power station, sophisticated air-monitoring stations, nationwide installation of low-flow water meters: these are typical projects successfully undertaken.

JCS has also been involved in the supply of various security related products including the Malta Driving Licence cards. Apart from this, JCS also trades with commercial and industrial entities for special products such as money handling machines, emission-testing equipment for vehicle roadworthiness, compressors and boilers. The Company is now looking into providing sustainable energy solutions for both the trade and consumer markets and the health sector is being actively researched with a view to providing top-class and affordable equipment to hospitals and clinics.
